Capita launches SurveyPad

​As part of our strategic partnership with Blackburn and Darwen Council, Capita Technical Development have adapted SurveyPad that helps improve the property service’s efficiency as well as providing other benefits such as reducing our environmental impact.

Before the delivery of SurveyPad, the property teams had to manually record all property inspections through a paper based system which meant that hand written notes and photographs had be collated and used to create a report separately at a later time.
SurveyPad, developed in house by Capita Technical Development, has enabled the process to be streamlined so that notes and photographs are now collected together in the app and instantly linked to an internal portal which then runs a report, allowing for instant access and sharing. 

SurveyPad has proved once again to be a success, cutting down the average time taken for property inspections significantly and although in service with numerous Capita partnerships across the country there are others wishing to ustilise its capability including Salford, North Tyneside, Stockport and Redditch.

Martin Tucker, Associate Director of Property and Infrastructure, said: 

“As part of our commitment to the Blackburn partnership, Capita agreed to constantly seek ways to innovate and give the Council more for less. The introduction of this app does just that – allowing us to work more efficiently and effectively to produce more accurate results whilst at the same time reducing our environmental impact and footprint.”
