Capita Local Public Services regional partnerships celebrate Investors in People accreditations
The latest addition of Local Public Services with an IIP accreditation, Capita’s partnership with Blackburn with Darwen Council, were awarded with ‘established’ status this year – a fantastic achievement against the rigorous new assessment.
The North Tyneside partnership have been recipients of three different IIP certifications, including ‘standard’, awarded in 2013, ‘Investors in Young People’ accredited in 2015 and ‘developed’, given to them in 2017. Capita North Tyneside are now looking ahead to 2020 where they hope to achieve ‘established’ status.
In Salford, Urban Vision Partnership, a joint venture with Capita, Salford City Council and Galliford Try, achieved ‘developed’ status in 2017, whilst Blackburn’s Property and Infrastructure service also achieved ‘gold’ status in recent years.
Urban Vision aim to reach the next level this year through the delivery of their newly launched People Strategy for 2018.
Capita Bromley were also successful in their bid for an IIP accreditation, receiving ‘standard’ in 2017.
Barry Pilkington, Interim Partnership Director at Capita Blackburn, said:
“We can’t deliver great service without great people. For us, IIP provides us with the opportunity to gain invaluable colleague feedback as well as bench-marking ourselves against other organisations. We are incredibly proud to gain the Established / Silver status under the new regime and look forward to implementing some of the changes colleagues want to see.”
