Inspiring our future workforce

We work with schools, local authorities and local communities to raise the profile of STEM related careers

Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) related industries contribute £486 billion to the British economy. 19% of the total UK employment remains within STEM with an estimated 186,000 engineers needed annually until 2024.

We work with schools, local authorities and local communities to raise the profile of STEM related careers; providing targeted training for adults, engaging activities for pupils and inspirational talks for all.

We are the official STEM learning Hub for Staffordshire and Shropshire managing a network of STEM Ambassadors who, using their knowledge, skills and experience, inspire young people and adults to pursue a career in engineering, science, technology or maths.
